Through the years, I have worked on creating our special butter cream recipe about which our clients rave. I truly believe the frosting makes the cake. To start with a moist, rich cake and top it with a melt-in-your-mouth delicious butter cream, one just can't get better than that!
Here are a few comments:
" ... after we tasted all the samples here (wedding show), we came back to yours as the best ..."
or, when we deliver to a venue, a comment from a server: "... we usually get some wedding cake but when you deliver your cakes, guests go back for seconds and it is all gone ..."
or, from a friend after delivering a baby shower cake: "... the mom-to-be said that your cake is the way she wished her wedding cake had tasted ..."
We have also had a wife who had attended a wedding in Granbury call and ask if we shipped wedding cake to Houston. Her husband was having a birthday and he didn't like wedding cake, but he "liked yours." It delights my heart to hear comments like that! I believe it is our exclusive butter cream recipe that sets our cakes above in the taste category.
In the past, we have provided contract cakes for Chef Gerard, a five star chef at Rough Creek Lodge in Glen Rose, when they were between pastry chefs. We have clients who have come to us from Los Angeles and New York to be married on ranches in our inviting community who have chosen us as their baker.
Now, we have been in business over twenty years. I love Granbury, I love meeting brides and helping them design that very, most special cake of a lifetime, their wedding cake.
